ICE North East supports over 2,000 members, living and working in Northumberland, Tyne and Wear, Durham and Tees Valley.

It shares knowledge, influences public infrastructure policy, and encourages innovation and excellence in the civil engineering profession. ICE North East also aims to raise the profile of civil engineering by working with the media, schools and universities.

Robert Stephenson Awards 2021 - Now open!

North East awards

The Robert Stephenson Awards 2021 sponsored by CDM Recruitment are now open for entries.

These esteemed awards now in their 30th year celebrate the very best of civil engineering in the North East.

Projects with a value of more than £5 million are eligible for the Large Award, those with a value between £1 than £5 million can be entered into the Medium Award, and the Small Award is for projects with a value less than £1 million.

The winners will be announced as part of an online awards ceremony on 23 April 2021.
