There are over 500 ICE members living in the Republic of Ireland and working on a huge range of projects across the country.
At the heart of everything we do in the country is the Republic of Ireland Local Association based in Dublin. The association of volunteer ICE members help arrange events, visits to ongoing engineering projects and social activities. It also plays a vital role in helping to increase the profile of civil engineering.
We also have a Graduate and Students Committee that supports members working towards professional qualification.
We have an Agreement of Cooperation with Engineers Ireland which means members of either organisation can attend meetings, conferences and use library facilities at members' rates.
There are streamlined routes to registration for professionally qualified MICE and MIEI under the admission pathways agreement between the Engineering Council and Engineers Ireland. In addition, MIEI can benefit from UK legislation on the recognition of EEA professional professions when applying for registration with ICE. To apply to ICE, please contact [email protected].
